About the role

We are looking for a proven Digital Account Manager to join our close-knit team and make an immediate impact to Sitback by having a growth mindset and a passion to add value to Clients. Reporting into the CEO, you will have an opportunity to influence and establish best practice and work with a portfolio of diverse clients across multiple industries.

You will be accountable for the growth, retention and strategic direction of a varied client portfolio and will be working with, and supported by, a close team of digital producers and project managers, developers, and UX professionals to deliver high quality web development services to our clients across government, financial services, education, medical, events, and charity sectors.

As a Digital Account Manager, you will always go above and beyond client expectations and consistently lead by example.

Sitback offer full and flexible remote working with access to collaboration spaces in order to meet up and work with your fellow team members whenever you need access. As this role is very client focussed, there will be a requirement to travel to client sites mainly located within the Sydney area.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Communicating to clients clearly and addressing their concerns and resolving any conflicts that arise.
  • Raising clients’ business concerns and needs to Sitback’s management.
  • Negotiating and closing business contracts with existing and new clients.
  • Delivering sales pitches to prospective clients.
  • Preparing and presenting business and account updates to Sitback’s management and clients.
  • Following up clients to ensure they are satisfied with the company’s products or services.
  • Contributing information to sales strategies by assessing current product results, monitoring competitive products, assessing needs to be filled and analysing customer reactions.
  • Identify and create sales opportunities within the client base by unlocking revenue through understanding our client’s ambitions and digital performance.
  • Create a roadmap of opportunities and record and maintain a pipeline of work within Hubspot.
  • Effectively build, manage, and maintain long-term client relationships at a high level.
  • Generate new business by means of using an existing network, prospecting and client networks, in conjunction with the client's marketing activities.

The work is fast paced and dynamic, so you must be well organised, work effectively under pressure and be capable of demonstrating:

  • At least 2 - 3 years experience in digital agency client service/account management.
  • Senior stakeholder management.
  • An inquisitive mind and a knack for problem solving.
  • Strong client management and commercial acumen.
  • Proven digital experience in a similar environment.
  • Team spirited with the ability to learn and teach others.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude.
  • Willingness to share experiences and create digital media strategy within the team.
